Anyone who violates local and state laws in New Hampshire may end up in a city or county jail and proceed to prison after sentencing. For this, the New Hampshire prison system consists of correctional facilities with detailed and up-to-date inmate records, showing who is in custody and for what criminal offense at any given time. Then, if your friend or loved one is incarcerated in New Hampshire, use any of the following three ways to locate them: -

New Hampshire Statewide Inmate Search

The New Hampshire Department of Corrections is the state agency in charge of the six state prisons in New Hampshire. Here, at least 2,600 felons are in custody, 3,600 offenders on probation, and another 2,200 offenders on parole. The agency keeps tabs on its inmate population by maintaining an elaborate offender database accessible to family and friends. Use the New Hampshire offender search tool available at the agency's official website to locate your loved one in a New Hampshire state prison as follows: -

New Hampshire Jail Roster Inmate Search

New Hampshire police departments and Sheriff's Offices operate ten jails in 10 counties. The jails serve as primary holding facilities, detaining anyone who violates local and state laws in the region. The detainees remain in custody for up to 12 months to await court arraignment, sentencing, bail settlement, transfer to prison, or serve time for misdemeanor offenses.

New Hampshire law enforcement agencies maintain elaborate jail rosters detailing who is in custody at any given time. Then, when searching for a friend or loved one arrested recently, look for them at your local police station or Sheriff's Department. Do this online by accessing the jail roster at the law enforcement agency's official website. Or, call the jail administrator to book an appointment.

Jail rosters are updated daily. Still, they exclude arrestees undergoing the booking process. Likewise, they may include offenders released during the weekend, public holidays, or in the last few hours.

New Hampshire Federal Inmate Search
